No. Although NewarcUK LTD will carry out warranty repairs on machines produced under the Weldability-Newarc brand, NewarcUK LTD is not in any way financially responsible or liable to carry out any warranty repairs. Warranty repairs are carried out on a ‘good faith’ basis to help you the customer. Repairs will be paid for by WWS once WWS has instructed NewarcUK LTD to carry out said repair.

No. Regrettably NewarcUK LTD will not support ‘any’ Newarc branded equipment imported into the UK and sold by Wholesale Welding Supplies or any other distributor. For your repair options you should contact WWS or the original supplier of the equipment to discuss your repair options. NewarcUK LTD will also not enter into any technical discussions with customers on such equipment.

Yes, if you want a machine manufactured in the UK to the highest standards associated with the Newarc Brand, we are fully able to build any of the machines in the existing range under licence from WWS. Please contact us directly for a quotation.

All machines manufactured and sold by NewarcUK LTD, either machines of our own design or those built under licence from WWS, will be covered by a 3-year parts and labour warranty or, in the case of export orders, 3 calendar years from notification from the courier that the customer has received the equipment. This warranty can be extended to 5 years; please contact us to discuss your options.

Yes, NewarcUK LTD is fully committed to developing our own range of UK manufactured equipment. Our own equipment is currently at pre-production level. We hope to have our own range available sometime in late 2026–early 2027.

Yes. So long as parts are available, and the repair is viable, Newarc UK LTD will endeavour to carry out repairs on all equipment both current and legacy.

On our own indigenous equipment we will endeavour to carry out repairs within 24–48 hours on receipt of equipment, so long that the spare parts are in stock.
On Weldability-Newarc equipment, we will endeavour to carry out warranty repairs (when authorised to do so by Weldability) within 5 working days of the authorisation being received, so long as spares are available.

Non-warranty repairs will normally take between 5–15 working days upon acceptance of the repair quote, depending on the type of fault, spare parts available, and current workload. Customers will be kept advised of any slippage in the repair time.

Any machine produced from March 2020 until Dec 2025 is classed as a Weldability Newarc machine. Machines with a three-year warranty were sold from July 2021. The three-year warranty ended in July 2024, when the warranty period was increased to 5 years; this lasted up to December 2025. If in doubt, please contact us quoting the serial number of the equipment and we will advise.

No. Regrettably we will not, under any circumstances, repair any machine sold under the Weldability-SIF brand. Please contact Weldability (WWS) to discuss your repair options.

While Newarc UK LTD is happy to provide Validation services for other third-party equipment, we will not provide repair services for third-party equipment. Please contact your dealer or an authorised service centre for the brand of equipment you have. If equipment is based in the North East we will be happy to recommend other repair providers.

No. The right to repair legislation does apply to industrial equipment. PCB schematics and technical information for the original line of Newarc machines are proprietary IP which belongs to WWS and will not be made public. IP for our own indigenous equipment is also proprietary and will not be made public. Internal wiring schematics/schedules are available and can be provided upon request. Any other information is provided verbally at the Technical Director’s discretion.

All repairs and parts provided to effect repairs and parts provided as spares to customers are warranted for 1 calendar year from the date of completion of the repair, or in the case of export orders, 1 calendar year from notification from the courier that the customer has received the spares.
